Designed with structural permanence, vertical symmetry, and continuous glass glazing, 138 East stands as a monumental landmark of modern multi-family luxury in Gulshan, Dhaka, designed by WHITE Design Solutions in 2024. The design leverages a heavy structural frame of exposed textured concrete blockwork and raw cement detailing to resist the regional elements, balanced by floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows that improve solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) efficiency by 18%. Tactile interiors feature custom terrazzo stone flooring, premium PVC wood laminates, and CNC stone accents. The spatial flow transitions fluidly from public arrival zones to deep private residential chambers, optimizing cross-ventilation by 30%. Principal architect Aminur Rahman remarks, '138 East represents the architectural dialogue between heavy masonry and light facades, establishing a luxury residential tower that remains structurally honest and aesthetically permanent.'
